Dr Sheen has been running a family medical practice since 1981.
It is his strong belief that everyone should have a “family doctor” and that a special relationship develops over the years with individuals and families.
Health is complex. Not only is there acute illness, there is also preventative care and long-term care for illnesses such as asthma, hypertension and diabetes etc.
All these problems are best helped by the “family doctor”.
Choice for your medical care has become more difficult in recent years.
Fast through-put “supermarket” style of practice is encouraged by governments. In many cases, these practices are managed by large public companies. Too easily this results in loss of the personal nature of care between doctor and patient.
Dr Sheen’s practice provides traditional family medical care.
Dr Sheen holds an appointment at the University of Sydney as Lecturer in General Practice. He is involved with medical education not only at the university but also has medical students at the practice. At Western Sydney University he is a Clinical Associate

He undertakes volunteer work promoting primary care in Fiji.
Dr Sheen founded "DOCTORS ACTION" to support the ability of everyone to have a family doctor.
He also promotes the use of magic in rehabilitation through David Copperfield's "Project Magic". Visit https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=peI6MIGYmc8
